So long, old sport. There's a lot we'll miss (but that's another post for another time).
Right now we're sitting in a Starbucks at Sherwood Forest Center Parcs. The weather is chilly and lovely. There are reindeer, ponies and fake snow (Esther is loving it!), and tomorrow Sarah and I are off for three hours at Aqua Sana.
After a week of packing and tidying until 2am each morning, this is the dream. We are well fed (vegetables - I remember those!), well rested, and able to enjoy each others' company again.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped us dismantle furniture, pack boxes, load up and drive the van, clean rooms, took our children and kept us fed and smiling. Thanks too to all the people who are generous enough to put us up (and put up with us). We're feeling very lucky to have such amazing friends. It may be the belgian chocolate muffin talking, but it's enough to make a man emotional.
We'll be updating in earnest once we've got a reliable wifi connection again.
For now, here's a shot of all our worldly possessions in a 100-square-foot metal room.
Love,
Adam
